Woodward’s GS6 gas control valve is an electrically actuated control valve used on industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine engines. The gas throttling section of the valve uses a self-cleaning, shear type of action that keeps the 0.45″ control port free of contamination that can inhibit optimal performance. This GS6 gas valve is electrically actuated with single resolver and conduit, an on-board driver, and can accommodate fuel gas or ambient temperatures to 200°F (93°C).
